Job Title: M&E Site Manager - Avonmouth FFT (Contract, CIS)
Location: Avonmouth, UK
Rate: Circa 400 per day (CIS)
Duration: Contract Basis

We are currently looking for a highly experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Site Manager to oversee critical works at Avonmouth FFT. This is a contract role operating under the CIS scheme, offering a competitive daily rate and a key leadership opportunity on a major infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage M&E site operations across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes
Oversee subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring delivery to programme and quality standards
Ensure compliance with site health & safety, environmental, and CDM regulations
Coordinate with the project management team, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
Review RAMS, progress reports, and method statements
Manage materials, site logistics, and permits
Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting

Requirements:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - essential
CSCS Card (preferably black or gold) - essential
First Aid at Work - essential
ECS Card or equivalent M&E qualification - desirable
Proven experience managing M&E packages on water or wastewater treatment sites (WRC/FFT/AMP projects highly desirable)
Strong technical understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and resolve issues on-site
Excellent organisational and communication skills
